
Alasdair Travers first worked for the practice between 2002-04, the rejoined JMP in 2007. His project portfolio has been unusually broad, reflecting a notably strong academic background that saw him gain his MA in architecture at Cambridge and his Dip Arch at the Bartlett - both with Distinction. Alasdair has been centrally involved in the masterplan elements of the King’s Cross project, but also provided key inputs in JMP’s recent, and innovative, education schemes, including Harris Academy and the award-winning Lavender Sure Start Nursery, and Engineering and Entrance Building at the University of Southampton. Alasdair’s other key projects have included the award-winning remodelling of Peter Jones department store, London, and the renewal and careful modernisation of Erno Goldfinger’s Grade II listed Trellick Tower.
