Eric Hallquist has played a central role in JMP’s landscape design schemes, having joined the practice in 2003. His experience has been markedly international. Having gained his degree in Landscape Architecture at Colorado State University, he went on to work on projects in the US, Europe and Asia, where his specialisms – urban design and ecology – were well tested. At JMP, his portfolio is diverse, with projects of every type and scale. His contribution to the practice’s massive Oxford Street Transit Study in London was innovative and exemplary, as were landscape designs for projects such as Marble Arch, the historic Stanislavsky Centre in Moscow, and the University of Manchester’s public realm scheme.
