Jim Sloan joined JMP in 2003, having studied at Manchester School of Architecture and the University of Bath, and has contributed to a number of significant projects including University Place, the University of Manchester’s £46m Student Centre and Nursing Building, and led the even bigger mixed-use regeneration scheme for The Moor in Sheffield. Based at JMP’s Manchester studio, his other projects have included Universal Square, Manchester; Lancaster University’s Postgraduate Statistics Centre (designed to gain a BREEAM Excellent rating); St George's Island apartments and Piccadilly Gardens transport interchange in Manchester.
