
Roger Wu joined John McAslan + Partners in 1994, having built up considerable experience in large-scale masterplanning, commercial and mixed use developments. At JMP, he has led the Mixed-Use buildings unit, and controlled outsourcing and internal systems management. Now, as Operations Director, Roger has overall responsibility for the quality and efficiency of the practice’s architectural performance. His core expertise lies in developing large scale projects with complex operational requirements, and he has led, or been involved in, some of JMP’s most complex schemes, notably the Yapi Kredi Operations Centre in Istanbul, the modernisation of Peter Jones department store, London, the Max Mara headquarters in Italy, the King’s Cross redevelopment, London, and proposals for a major fashion group’s headquarters. Roger has also taught at the universities of Bath, Nottingham, and Plymouth.
