The design sensitively and creatively remodels the main assembly hall into a two-screen arthouse cinema and a 300-400 seat flexible performance and music space, while other parts of the building will provide a bar and café, new business spaces, creative studios for artists, designers and craftspeople; recording studios; facilities for young people; outdoor courtyards; event spaces for civic and social ceremonies; public amenity spaces, and residential accommodation.
