JMP was appointed in 2007 to deliver the masterplan and design of the new headquarters for fashion house Miroglio, in the town of Alba, southeast of Turin.
The building, on an 8 hectare site, will accommodate 750 staff in a campus arrangement of rational and flexible buildings, linked by an ETFE-covered internal street and open spaces with a mix of cafes, showrooms, cat-walk areas, meeting rooms and administration areas. The conceptual approach underpinning this project has been to mimic the life-work character of the historic centre of Alba, where the Miroglio Group has been based since its foundation in the 1950s.
